Trocadero Transfer entrance 1982? Here's a pic with Jimbo on the left at the Troc Clown Alley Party. Michael Lewis was the DJ and apparently blew out the music system while playing Tantra's Hills Of Katmandu. Luckily the system was quickly reset and the party continued. Notice the corrugated metal on the walls. This theme was continued throughout the whole dance area inside and caused the sound to ricochet in a very trippy way.

Clown Alley was a burger joint located both on Lombard and Divisadero and in the Tenderloin that stayed open late. People would go there after dancing and eat and cruise. Was this place the inspiration for the Troc's Clown Alley Party?

Jimbo the doorman and Billy Langenheim the lighting director inside the Troc entrance.

Dick Collier leaning on the sill at the ticket window. The notice board behind him tells us that the DJ for the night is Vincent Carleo
